Trump attacks Amazon for profitable ‘little or no taxes’

President Trump has launched an conflict on Amazon observant it pays small or no internal or state taxes.

He also accuses it of “putting many thousands of retailers out of business”.

Mr Trump combined in a twitter that “they [sic] …use a Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing extensive detriment to a U.S.)”.

It follows a news on a news website Axios on Wednesday that claimed Mr Trump wanted to “go after” Amazon.

Amazon shares fell some-more than 4% on Wednesday.

However, tech bonds such as Twitter, Google and Facebook have also depressed in new weeks in a wider sell-off.

The Axios report claimed: “Trump’s rich friends tell him Amazon is destroying their businesses. His genuine estate buddies tell him – and he agrees – that Amazon is murdering selling malls and brick-and-mortar retailers.”

It is not a initial time a President has criticised Amazon on amicable media.

Last year in August, a President tweeted: “Amazon is doing good repairs to taxation profitable retailers. Towns, cities and states via a U.S. are being harm – many jobs being lost!”

In a past a President has also taken aim during a Washington Post that is owned by Amazon owner Jeff Bezos.
