Sara Haines is a mom of two!
The View co-host welcomed her new daughter, Sandra Grace Shifrin, on Saturday, Dec. 23, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal. Sandra is Haines’ second child with father Max Shifrin and a couple’s initial daughter. She is named after Haines’ mother.
The baby weighed in during 7 lbs. and 2 oz.
“She’s here!!! Today we met a small Christmas package – Sandra Grace Shifrin (named after my mom),” Haines wrote on Instagram Saturday. “She weighed in during a cold 7 pounds, 2 ounces. We can’t confirm who she looks like, though we’ll keep her anyway ;)”
Haines, 40, initial announced her pregnancy on The View in June. She pronounced on a shred that it was a formidable tip to keep, and “anyone that’s been in a studio assembly substantially could have picked adult on it as well.”
“I have to eat by a blurb breaks and they move me rice crackers and ginger ale,” Haines told PEOPLE in June. “Nothing overrides a nausea.”
Haines — who is already mom to a 20-month-old son Alec — combined that her food cravings were opposite with this pregnancy than her first.
“Pizza and bagels were my go-to dishes with Alec,” pronounced a ABC star. “I crave uncanny things [now]. Rice crackers have saved me and green candies have helped.”
Another thing that’s opposite this time is a baby’s gender.
“We are so vehement to supplement to a small family,” she said. “I was anticipating for a girl, though Max [Shifrin] is a small scared, we think.”
Haines pronounced on The View that she grew adult with dual sisters and understands “the womanlike experience,” though her father is distressed about lifting a girl.
“He’s feeling a bit shaken about how to primogenitor as a father to a small girl,” she explained. “Max has been surrounded by mostly male relatives. He has a brother, all masculine cousins and usually nephews.”
