Sara Haines and her husband, counsel Max Shifrin, welcomed daughter Sandra Grace on Dec. 23, and The View co-host is over a moon about her new gold of joy.

“She is a cutest small gob ever,” Haines, 40, says in this week’s emanate of PEOPLE. “She is cooing and giggling and only smiling. She’s such a happy baby!”

Haines says that while her 2-year-old son Alec Richard is anxious to have a small sister, he’s still removing used to pity his parents’ attention.

“He is a sweetest large brother,” she says. “It’s unequivocally cute. But he doesn’t adore when we are bustling with her. If I’m holding her or pumping, he always says ‘Mama, no pump, no pump’ or ‘Mama, baby swing,’ like put a baby in a swing, put her down. “The one book we review before we became relatives was about how to get your baby to sleep,” she says. “We were operative on Alec from a indicate he came out and we got him sleeping early and he stays a really good sleeper.
