Shelly Gupta Maheswari, who represented India as Mrs. Asia Pacific and was crowned third Princess Universal Elegance during a Mrs. Universal 2017, says pageants for married women in India are a good platform, though a lot some-more needs to be done.

“Pageants for married women in India yield clever height to married women and give them an identity, though still many things need to be incorporated in an organized approach to make women feel assured to showcase their celebrity and potential,” Maheswari told IANS.

“A beauty manifestation is a jubilee of beauty. Beauty pageants give women an event to showcase their personalities not usually on a domestic platform, though also globally,” she added.

At a moment, Maheswari says she wants to spend time with children next a age of 11 and “explain to them a definition of gender and a need to quarrel gender bias”.
