Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is prepared for all a changes that fatherhood brings.
“It’s unequivocally exciting,” a 32-year-old Jersey Shore star, who’s awaiting his initial child — a girl — with partner Jen Harley in April, told PEOPLE during a Jersey Shore Family Vacation premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday.

“I found out I’m carrying a baby lady and it’s like, ‘Oh my God, we didn’t wish a girl,” he revealed.

Explaining his less-than-enthusiastic initial reaction, Ortiz-Magro told reporters, “I feel like I’ve finished too many seasons of Jersey Shore that we know what girls can be like, and it has not given me a good perspective.”
“But no, I’m indeed unequivocally excited. we have a lot of younger sisters, and we feel like this lady is going to make me softer,” he continued, adding that he thinks his daughter will “make me some-more normal and human, and I’m unequivocally looking brazen to a subsequent section of my life.”
The 32-year-old also explained that when it comes to feeling prepared to be a dad, he’s not worried.
“I feel like no one’s ever prepared to turn a dad. Everyone’s like, ‘Are we ready?’ And I’m like as prepared as I’m ever going to be. But I’ve had younger sisters and I’m good with kids, and I’m indeed looking brazen to it. I’m not disturbed about it,” he told PEOPLE.
While he went on to explain he’s some-more disturbed about “being a good man or a good beloved or a husband,” he done it transparent he doesn’t have any evident skeleton to tie a tangle with Harley.
