For Fredrik Eklund, a strenuous tour toward fatherhood means that there isn’t most he misses about a time beforehand.
The Million Dollar Listing: New York star is featured alongside father Derek Kaplan and their 11-week-old twins Fredrik Jr. and Milla in this week’s emanate of PEOPLE, with Eklund opening adult about their new lives as fathers.
“I don’t unequivocally skip life before … it’s like walking into a light,” a Swedish-born real-estate broker, 40, tells PEOPLE’s Celeb Parents Get Real. “And afterwards we demeanour behind [and] it was unequivocally dark.”
“I was happy — it was a good life — though no, we don’t wish to go retrograde in life. we wanna pierce forward, we wanna look forward,” he adds, musing, “Maybe we should have some-more kids.”

Notably, Eklund and Kaplan have been by a wringer on their trail toward apropos dads given their 2013 wedding. In 2015, a couple hired a surrogate, who became profound with twins, though she suffered a miscarriage during her initial trimester.
A year later, they attempted again — and that same broker became profound for a second time, but sadly miscarried once more.

Now that Eklund is finally a father, he doesn’t wish to rubbish any time exposing his children to a universe around them. “I already wish to travel [but] they’re too young,” he laments. “We have to wait [until] 3 months, all a shots and all that.”
“I can’t wait to uncover them,” continues a unapproachable dad. “Asia, Paris, London, Africa. Sweden — can we suppose when I take Milla and Freddy behind home to Sweden? Oh my God. There’s so many places.”

Whether a babies take after Eklund, painter Kaplan or forge their possess paths in life, the Bravo star just wants them to pursue what creates them happy.
“To brave to do what they unequivocally wish to do with their lives,” he replies when asked about his biggest wish for his children. “To [not] listen too most to other people — or me, God forbid. Just to do something they are unequivocally ardent about.”
