As you’re reading this, Donald Trump is apparently on a phone with Russian personality Vladimir Putin.
Let’s only wish he doesn’t screw all up.
Today is a day, after a chaotic and uncanny initial full week in a White House, that The Donald is set to have his central initial phone call with Putin, and it’s not only a Russian strong-arm dictator, either — Trump is set to speak to a Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
But it’s Putin — who Trump has oral unequivocally fondly about — that’ll take a many seductiveness from a media and American adults today.
At a heart of it is sanctions opposite Russia, associated to their advance of a Crimean peninsula in Ukraine; Trump has not pronounced either he will keep a sanctions, and there is a fear he could lift them altogether to damp his friend Putin.
