Bode Miller Got a Phone Call Every Parent Fears When His 19-Month-Old Daughter Drowned

Olympic alpine skier Bode Miller learned of his 19-month-old daughter Emeline‘s swimming pool collision in what was no doubt a misfortune phone call of his life.

Orange County Fire Authority Captain Steve Concialdi tells PEOPLE Miller, 40, was not during his neighbor’s residence when his daughter was found nonchalant in their pool on Saturday.

“Somebody from a stage called Bode to let him know what happened and that his child was being ecstatic to Mission Hospital,” says Concialdi about a collision that occurred in Coto de Caza, California. It is misleading who done a call.

Beck Miller, who is now 6 months pregnant, pulled her daughter out of a pool where she and her friends started CPR before paramedics arrived. Concialdi says a small girl’s mom afterwards “rode in a front of a ambulance to a hospital.”

Concialdi told PEOPLE on Tuesday that  Emeline fell into a pool around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

“They were during a neighbor’s house, articulate to a neighbors inside, and somehow a small lady made her approach to a backyard pool,” he said.

“She was usually blank for usually a brief volume of time and Mom incited and was looking for her and didn’t see her right subsequent to her,” he continued. “Mom went true to a backyard to where a pool was. The child was in a pool. The mom pulled out a small lady and they started CPR immediately.”

Concialdi confirmed drowning as a means of death even yet Emeline was usually in a H2O “a really brief volume of time.”

“As a guys approached a backyard, they usually handed a child to a firefighter paramedics” and she was rushed to Mission Hospital, where she was conspicuous dead.

The Orange County Fire Authority expelled a raging 911 call on Tuesday in that a male behaving CPR on a small lady was listened saying, “Come on, come on baby girl. Come on, girl. Come on baby. Come on baby. Get it out. Come on, honey.”

An unnamed lady who called 911 echoed a man’s difference saying, “Come on baby girl, we got this.”

Miller and his mother share one other child, son Nash Skan, 3, and are expecting another child together that they announced in April.

The contestant also has dual other children from prior relationships: son Samuel, 5, and daughter Neesyn, 10.

On Tuesday, Miller and Morgan gave interjection to their fans for their support on Instagram. Miller common a father-daughter photo, writing, “Thank we for all a adore and support and to a midwives @lindseymeehleis and @courtneykellis for assisting us find a support a family needs during this unfit time,” he wrote.
