About 143 million US business of credit news hulk Equifax might have had information compromised in a cyber confidence breach, a association has disclosed.

Equifax pronounced criminals accessed information such as Social Security numbers, birth dates and addresses during a incident.

Some UK and Canadian business were also affected.

The firm’s core consumer and blurb credit databases were not accessed.

Equifax pronounced hackers accessed a information between mid-May and July, when a association detected a breach.

The hackers accessed credit label numbers for about 209,000 consumers, among other information.
