A World War Two-era US explosve has been detonated in a stream in Frankfurt, causing H2O to emanate high into a air, German media report.
Some 600 people were evacuated from tools of a city as explosve ordering experts got to work during about 08:00 internal time (06:00 GMT) on Sunday.
Following a explosion, divers were sent to check that a device was safe.
The explosve was detected on Tuesday in Frankfurt’s River Main, German news group dpa reports.
Divers with a city’s glow use were participating in a slight training practice when they found a 250kg (550lb) device.
