Tumhari Sulu, starring Vidya Balan and Manav Kaul, has non-stop to certain reviews. Directed by Suresh Triveni, a slice-of-life film is approaching to have a decent opening day collection. As common by trade researcher Girish Johar, Tumhari Sulu is approaching to open with a collection of Rs 2 crores.
The trade guru said, “I am awaiting Tuhmari Sulu to make an opening of Rs 2 crores on Friday. With a good word-of-mouth, a film might acquire Rs 8 to Rs 10 crore by a finish of a weekend. Aksar 2 will not mount as a foe for Vidya Balan’s film. It has a totally opposite set of audience. Businesses aren’t expected to strife between these dual films.”
Indian Express censor Shubhra Gupta gave a film 3 stars and wrote in her review, “Balan is pitch-perfect as Sulu, a lady creation assent with her situation, while always perplexing to find that china lining.”
Shubhra also added, “What’s good about ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is that notwithstanding her (Vidya Balan) being a product of a certain kind of family and background, she is really most ‘Hamari Sullu’. Any woman, of a identical provenance, can brand with Sulu strongly: can she do something that will supplement to her possess clarity of self but her family and husband, enlivening as he might be, but guilt-tripping her all a way?”
Well, let’s wait and see if Vidya Balan’s avatar as an RJ is means to lift audiences to a theaters.
