Sound Mixer Falls To Death In Tragic Accident On Mr. Rogers Biopic Set

James Emswiller, an Emmy-winning sound mixer who was operative this week on a Mr. Rogers biopic You Are My Friend, has died after what appears to be an random tumble from a second story of a building during a mangle from filming.

According to internal news station WPXI in Pittsburgh, Emswiller died Thursday night after descending from a patio where he had been holding a fume mangle in between filming scenes for the Tom Hanks-led movie.

Bystanders listened a bizarre sound during one point, went to investigate, and dynamic that Emswiller had depressed from a balcony. He was harmed exceedingly during that point, and rushed to a hospital, though doctors were incompetent to revitalise him and he was conspicuous passed once there.

James had been a sound mixer on a lot of high-profile films in his career, including The Fault In Our StarsFoxcatcherThe AvengersJack Reacher, and more.

He was 61 years old.
