The Siriously Delicious food blogger and cookbook author, 37, recently dished to PEOPLE’s Celeb Parents Get Real about a differences in how she and her Today co-host father primogenitor their 3 kids: daughters London Rose, 4 subsequent month, and Etta Jones, 5½, and son Jackson James, 9.
“I don’t cruise myself a despotic parent. However, we feel like I’m always arrange of ‘bad cop’ and that my father Carson is ‘good cop,’ ” she admitted. “He gets to be fun father and I’m a one that substantially has to harass them.”
” ‘Did we do your homework? Did we brush your teeth? Eat your food?’ ” Siri emphasizes. “But we don’t consider I’m strict. we don’t know.”

The mom of 3 will never forget her many annoying parenting moment, when son Jackson was about 4 or 5. First giving a backstory about how she’d give him a “kiddie cocktail” during home consisting of extract and “bubbly water,” she recalls a waggish time when that nickname backfired.
“We were during this bagel emporium and we asked him if he wanted orange extract — it was unequivocally busy,” Siri says. “And he said, really loudly, ‘Mommy, we usually like orange extract in my cocktails.’ ”

One parenting impulse Siri wishes she could redo, maybe with a small some-more patience? Potty training daughter Etta, whom she explains was “slower with it” than Jackson had been.
“I had such an easy time with my initial that we was really stressed about a timeline of things with her, and if we could do it differently we wish we would’ve only loose a small and satisfied she’d get there when she’d get there,” she says.
