As Bollywood luminary Salman Khan spent his initial (sleepless) night in a jail in Jodhpur, behind home his friends, kin and well-wishers continued to flow into his chateau during Galaxy Apartments in Bandra in Mumbai. Salman’s mom was not attending to guests. She had left to nap after conference a narcotic news about her son. But his father Salim Khan was there.
Shatrughan Sinha, a family crony and self-professed sympathiser of Salman, said, “My daughter Sonakshi (Sinha) reached Salman’s home many progressing than me and spent a lot some-more time with a family. We are unequivocally tighten to a Khan family and have a top regards for Salman and his parents.
“I spent a lot of time with Salim Saab on Thursday evening. It is always a pleasure to spend time with him. He is so well-informed. we call him Salim Pandit. The stream predicament (Salman’s imprisonment) has not done him remove his clarity of humour during all. He was full of life and unequivocally confident about his son’s recover soon. We all are.”
Sinha thinks a justice outcome has been oppressive and that Salman has suffered adequate in this case.
“With due respects to a authorised routine and to a fair judge, we feel Salman has suffered adequate in this case. What is his crime? And it’s not usually a five-year judgment that seems unequivocally oppressive to me. It is indeed twenty years given Salman has been in and out of Jodhpur courts and prison. Plus a 5 years that a Honourable Judge has awarded him now. So it’s, in reality, a sum of 25 years’ sentence,” he said.
Sinha also questions since usually Salman is being punished and not others.
“There were others with Salman that night when he is purported to have left sport in Jodhpur. He couldn’t have left alone. His friends contingency have been with him in a purported crime. Why have they been let off though a sentence?
Although, he pronounced he was happy for a other 4 actors.
“Saif (Ali Khan), Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, are all smashing tellurian beings. But so is Salman. He is one of a kindest many inexhaustible tellurian beings I’ve seen. Always prepared to assistance a needy… Why give him a jail dungeon when there’s so many he can do from a outside? Give him village work as punishment. He will happily do it,” Sinha said.
The actor-politician, however, refuses to sympathise with producers whose films might be stranded if Salman is imprisoned.
“They knew what they were removing into. They knew there was a critical justice box unresolved over him. They went into their projects with Salman with their eyes open.
“We can’t say, ‘Don’t send him to jail since a under-production projects will suffer’. Every crook that goes to jail leaves behind unprepared projects. Why is an deficient multi-crore film some-more critical than a residence that an jailed designer leaves unbuilt, or a novel that an author leaves unwritten?” he said.
Sinha feels Salman is profitable a cost for being who he is.
“I unequivocally feel Salman is being punished for being who he is. If he was a commoner he would not have to humour for 25 years for a crime he might or might not have committed.”
Echoing Sinha, actor Samir Soni, whose mother Neelam was also indicted in a same blackbuck poaching case, said: “Your stardom or luminary standing goes opposite we when people try to make an instance of we to deter others. It’s a double-edged sword, it’s excellent when it’s with we though when it’s against, it cuts deep. Salman paid a cost for being Salman.”
Salman was on Thursday condemned to 5 years in jail by a Jodhpur justice in a 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
His bail defence conference is scheduled for Saturday.
