Former England fly-half Andy Goode has come out of retirement and sealed a three-month understanding with Newcastle.

The 35-year-old announced his retirement in Sep since of damage problems.

Falcons have also sealed scrum-half Justin Booth, 21, on a three-month understanding from New Zealand side Manawatu Turbos.

Goode and Booth will yield cover for Mike Delany and Ruki Tipuna, who are both harmed and not approaching to play again until a spring.
