Pari box bureau collection day 2: Anushka Sharma starrer earns Rs 9.83 crore
Anushka Sharma’s latest film Pari is not doing too good during a box office. After 4 days of a melodramatic run, it has warranted Rs 17.48 crore. On Monday, a collection was Rs 2.14 crore. As a comparison, Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that expelled final week warranted Rs 2.71 crore on a same day. This is worrying for Pari, given it has perceived decent reviews and word-of-mouth is also flattering good. So what gives?
One reason for a lukewarm opening might be that a film had started weak. It was expelled on Holi, and clearly filmmakers were anticipating to money in on a holidays. But for some reason, a film did not get as most courtesy as was expected. Anushka Sharma has not seen most success before this film too. Her Jab Harry Met Sejal was also so-so and her Phillauri was a failure.
Trade researcher Taran Adarsh tweeted out a figures. “#Pari Fri 4.36 cr, Sat 5.47 cr, Sun 5.51 cr, Mon 2.14 cr. Total: ₹ 17.48 cr. India biz,” he said.

Indian Express film censor had created in her disastrous examination of a film, “Anushka Sharma plays Rukhsana with a good understanding of bloody enthusiasm. You can't credit her of not perplexing hard, though a film is so poorly-written, and so scatter-brained that zero can rescue it, not even a heading lady who is dynamic to do something opposite with her producing heft. Poor Parambrata Chatterjee is left perplexing to reason adult a story, such as it is, and is a usually one left standing.”
