James Corden was true adult dejected in an extraordinary Broadway low-pitched riff-off on ‘The Late Late Show’ on Jan. 9. But what did he design when he was going adult opposite a mythological triple hazard Neil Patrick Harris? See a stars duke it out right here!
Neil Patrick Harris, 43, has hosted a Tony awards about a million times. But this past year James Corden, 38, took a job. So we usually knew that when NPH showed adult on The Late Late Show on Jan. 9 it was gonna be a moving night. But we had NO thought that a whole thing was going to finish in an epic riff-off, let alone one full of uncover tunes!
James was in a center of a shred when a Series of Unfortunate Events star came on theatre and told him they had a measure to settle. “I see we going around hosting a Tonys. Acting like you’re a usually TV star who can sing Broadway uncover tunes. Some of us, dude, have indeed won a Tony,” Neil pronounced to James. “Yes some of us have. I’ve also won a Tony award, myself,” James pronounced in defense. “Ya for a non-singing role. Burn!” Neil joked. And afterwards it was on!
James’ common a cappella crew, a Filharmonics, came out and corroborated adult a dual singers in their try to surpass any other while belting out each Broadway strain from a classical “On My Own” from Les Misérables to a some-more complicated “Sugar Daddy” from Hedwig and a Angry Inch (which Neil starred in on Broadway). When it was transparent that Neil had won and James was prepared to accept defeat, Neil speedy him to never stop singing Broadway songs. That’s when a span finished their conflict by singing Hamilton‘s “My Shot” together. Believe us, Broadway has never looked so cool.
