Hours after megastar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted about his unreleased film Shoebite, a movie’s executive Shoojit Sircar says he is perplexing all in his competence to move a film to a theatres though is not removing any response from a producers.

Shoebite was Sircar’s second film after Yahaan (2005) and his initial partnership with Bachchan. It’s not nonetheless certain that year a film was done though it has been reported that after a prolonged wait for a release, Sircar changed on to directing Bengali film Aparajita Tumi in 2012.

When indianexpress.com reached out to Sircar for a comment, he replied, “It’s now Disney UTV and Fox. Earlier they were apart entities though they are underneath one umbrella.. they should positively do it (release a film). Mr Bachchan and we have been pleading.. we consider Ronnie Screwwala should come brazen and solve it for us as he was a writer and a presenter of a film.”

Almost sounding infirm and unfortunate to get a film see a light of a day, Sircar combined that he was prepared to sell his residence to compensate a producers if need be. “Also we am also prepared to sell my home and compensate them to recover a film.. quite for Mr Bachchan, my organisation and technicians.” When prodded what’s interlude a producers to take a film ahead, a executive replied, “Only they know.”
