“Vile” nod cards featuring Karen Matthews and Jimmy Savile should be private from sale, a gift has said.
The NSPCC has described a Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards, that are drawn in a animation style, as “thoughtless and irresponsible”.
Freelance illustrator Samuel Hague, who sells a pieces around online marketplace Etsy, shielded his work and pronounced he does “not acquit any acts of child abuse whatsoever”.
Etsy has been approached for comment.
A Mother’s Day label includes a sketch of Karen Matthews alongside a phrase: “Thanks for never stealing me underneath a bed.”
