John Stamos is some-more than prepared to make a switch from Uncle Jesse to dad.
The first-time father-to-be, 54, couldn’t reason behind his fad about his and new wife Caitlin McHugh‘s imminent addition at a Wednesday premiere of his Fuller House costar Bob Saget’s movie Benjamin.
“I’ve waited my whole life for this,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I only can’t. I’m already so romantic and so excited… I’ve been forgetful about a baby. we mean, we am unequivocally excited.”
While many new relatives have a few jitters, Stamos pronounced he didn’t have any concerns, interjection in partial to McHugh, whom he wed in February before embarking on a romantic honeymoon during Disney World.
“I’m not shaken during all. I’ve been not shaken about removing married — we only knew it was a right thing,” he explained to ET. “I’m not shaken about carrying a kid; I’m not shaken about carrying a child with her.”

The actor wasn’t finished vehemence about McHugh.
“She’s so pleasing pregnant. She’s so magical. She is a many seemly chairman I’ve ever met in my life, and she’s doing pregnancy like a champ.” he common with ET. “Every day we say, ‘You’re doing so great, you’re doing so great.’”
He added: “Just each day I’m with her we only realize, initial of all, how propitious we am, though what a special tellurian she is. She’s magical. She floats into a room. I’ve never listened her contend a bad word about anybody.”
Though Stamos is still bustling operative on projects like Netflix’s Fuller House and a Lifetime series You, he feels it’s time to settle down and concentration on family.
“I don’t know what we would do if we wasn’t carrying a baby right now,” he told ET. “Like, I’ve finished all anyone could ever… I’ve had a many pleasing sanctified life on a planet, and a many honest genuine thing we could do we haven’t done.”

In December, Stamos exclusively suggested to PEOPLE that he and McHugh were expecting their initial child.
“I always wanted to be a dad. Clearly we had to do some work on myself first,” he said. “I have a childish thing. People say, ‘Oh, we demeanour young.’ You start desiring you’re gonna live to be 150. And afterwards we arise adult and go, ‘No, man, this is it. This is not a rehearsal.’ … People would say, ‘You should have a child.’ we was like, ‘That boat has sailed.’”

But Stamos pronounced he feels prepared for parenthood.
“I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a prolonged time,” he told PEOPLE, joking. “I’ve finished each schtick we can do with a baby on TV … all a pieces and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll substantially only do all that stuff.”
