A widen of highway in France has been paved with solar PV (photovoltaic) panels as partial of a government-backed beginning for renewable electricity generation.
It is estimated that even bustling roads can “see” a sky 70-90% of a time.
The solar PV panels are coated in dejected potion and creosote to make them some-more durable.
But a cost of creation a roughly half a mile of “Wattway” was an estimated 4 to 6 times as most as covering a area with required solar panels.
The association aims to significantly revoke a cost in a future.
