Chennai-based Miss Diva 2017 Shraddha Shashidhar to paint India during Miss Universe pageant

The leader of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Shraddha Shashidhar, who was crowned Miss Universe India 2017 by actor Shahid Kapoor on Wednesday, will now be competing at a prestigious Miss Universe manifestation on Nov 26 in a US. A sum of 15 participants were shortlisted for a final turn and were judged by a prestigious row that included  Rajkumar Rao, Kabir Khan, Lara Dutta, Vijendra Singh, Chuck Russell and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere.

Shashidhar, who lives in Chennai and did her drill from Army Public School, Deolali. The indication and contestant is from an Army family, and has graduated from Sophia College for Women with a grade in Mass Communication.

At a Miss Diva finale, Peden Ongmu Namgyal (Sikkim) was adjudged Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva – Supranational 2017, and Apeksha Porwal (Mumbai) as Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017 second runner-up. The grand culmination of a beauty pageant, that was hold in Mumbai, was attended by Bollywood celebrities and famous personalities, including Malaika Arora, Lara Dutta, Rajkummar Rao and fighter Vijendra Singh.

The culmination night was a visible provide with gorgeous performances from actor Kriti Sanon and singer Anushka Manchanda. Actress Malaika Arora Khan and VJ Yudhisthir anchored a show.

“Competition is tough each year. It isn’t easy to select one winner. Because if beauty pageants were easy afterwards there would have been so many beauty queens, and we would have had so many some-more titles. It’s been 17 years given we have had a past leader so this year we have to try and bag a Miss Universe Crown,” pronounced former Miss Universe Lara Dutta.
