Britain’s double Olympic bullion medallist Joanna Rowsell Shand has announced her retirement from general cycling.
The 28-year-old lane cyclist won bullion in a group office during London 2012 and Rio 2016.
In a career travelling 10 years, Rowsell Shand was a five-time universe and four-time European champion.
“The preference to step divided has been a hardest I’ve ever had to make,” she said. “I trust we have some-more to offer a world.”
More to follow.
