A biotechnology organisation is anticipating ways of flourishing a operation of salad crops indoors.

The Bristol-based organisation Lettus Grow suspends a roots of plants in a “nutrient-dense mist” rather than in water.

The association was awarded 100,000 euro (£89,000) on Thursday in a Postcode Lottery Green Challenge that awards money to firms building environmental business projects.
