Amanda Seyfried Opens Up About Taking Lexapro During Pregnancy

Mean Girls star Amanda Seyfried welcomed her initial child, a daughter, with father Thomas Sadoski in March.

Earlier this month, a singer slammed online mommy-shamers. “Breastfeeding is awesome. Formula is awesome. Feeding your baby is awesome,” The Last Word actress, 31, tweeted on Jul 5. “Not awesome? Judgement.”

Now, a new mom is opening adult about her preference to take Lexapro during her pregnancy.

“I didn’t get off my antidepressant. It’s unequivocally for anti-anxiety for me,” she suggested on Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy. “I’ve been holding Lexapro for years and years and years, and we didn’t get off of it. we was on an intensely low dose.”

She added: “A healthy primogenitor is a healthy kid.”

The Mamma Mia! star was diagnosed with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) when she was 19.

“It would take me a unequivocally prolonged time to put my garments divided in a drawers,” she shared. “And it’s all about classification and if it doesn’t feel right we have to keep relocating until it feels right, keep relocating things around until they feel right. we have a thing with numbers, that is unequivocally common.”
