Al Roker Fires Back during Jillian Michaels’ Criticism of Keto Diet

Al Roker won’t be holding health recommendation from Jillian Michaels anytime soon. 

The NBC weatherman took to Twitter on Thursday to call out Michaels for her new comments slamming a ketogenic diet. The luminary tutor criticized a popular diet progressing this week, observant it was a bad devise “for a million reasons” — and Roker didn’t reason behind in his response. In his sardonic twitter during Michaels, Roker took aim during her past on The Biggest Loser, referencing her argumentative function on a uncover as a “bad idea.” 

“So @JillianMichaels says #Keto is a bad idea. This from a lady who promoted on camera bullying, deprivation, strategy and some-more weekly in a name of weight loss. Now those sound like bad ideas,” he wrote. 

Roker, who started a keto diet in September, shielded a nourishment devise — that focuses on a low-carb, high-protein diet — some-more on Friday’s Today show. He pronounced that his health has been good given starting keto, and also suggested that Michaels had emailed him in response to his twitter — though common that he didn’t wish to hold her message.

In her talk with Women’s Health progressing this week, Michaels explained a logic behind her hatred to a keto diet.
